The Hon. RC (Bob) Kucera, APM JP
The Honorable Bob Kucera, APM JP, has joined the Board of MCS as Chairman, after some 35 years in Government, Policing and Community Service. A highly decorated Police Officer, he retired in 2001 as an Assistant Commissioner of Police in Western Australia. Bob was then elected to the Parliament of Western Australia as member for the seat of Yokine in the Legislative Assembly, where he entered cabinet, serving as a Minister in a number of Portfolios including Health, Small Business, Tourism, Sport and various Social Service related ministries.
Bob retired from Parliament in 2008, and has continued a strong, long-standing record of management and governance in many “Not for Profit” and sports related organizations and enterprises at both State and National levels. He currently sits on five such boards, two of which have multi-million dollar budgets. Bob has tertiary qualifications in Management, Criminal Investigation and Police Management, as well as a deep appreciation of, and unique insight into every aspect of the Security Industry. He is excited at the Challenge that this new role brings, particularly at a time when security has become a cornerstone of life in the Australian community.
Mr. Puckridge was formerly Executive Director of Discovery Resources Limited (ASX: DIS) now Aquis Entertainment Limited (ASX: AQS) where he oversaw the acquisition of the Canberra Casino. Mr. Puckridge is a Non-Executive Director of TopTung Limited (ASX: TTW), a NSW-based Tungsten explorer and Alcidion Group Limited (ASX: ALC), an Adelaide based Healthcare Technology company. Mr. Puckridge is currently Executive-Chairman of Fraser Range Metals Group Limited (ASX: FRN) and Non-Executive Chairman of Blaze International Limited (ASX: BLZ).
Mr. Puckridge was also founding Director and Secretary of Windward Resources Limited (ASX: WIN), a significant explorer of Western Australia’s Fraser Range region.
Mr. Matthew Ward is Non-Executive Director of the company. He is a Chartered Accountant with an Honours degree in Economics and has completed a range of other studies including the Harvard Business Management course. He has previously worked for KMPG in London and South Africa as well as Wesfarmers in Australia. Mr. Ward has over 30 years’ of financial and commercial experience and is currently a Fund Manager at Katana Asset Management, a listed Australian funds management firm.
Mr Asquith is a Chartered Accountant with a Masters of Business Administration and over 30 years’ corporate experience in Australia and overseas. He has previously held the office of Company Secretary for several ASX listed entities.
