Hi Everyone,

I just had a phone call from a 81 year old lady called Beverley Martin, she had become unwell whilst shopping at Karrinyup on Thursday 19th around 1600, she was assisted by Antonio and Syed who helped her take her shopping to her car, and advised her she needed to see a DR. They then found her a wheelchair and blanket and took her to the Dr's. The  doctors called her an ambulance and she was taken to hospital. She is feeling a lot better and wanted to let us know how appreciative she was for their assistance and said, they went above and beyond and she would be forever grateful, she is unable to use a computer so could not send us an email.

I was part of a small team raising funds for The Adventurers, who are a group of people dedicated to promoting awareness of childhood brain cancer, and raising funds for medical research into new and more effective treatments.  Our small group of 6 raised just shy of $100k, all of which was donated directly to the Telethon Kids Institute in Perth to fund the acquisition of a specific item of equipment to be used for further research into preventing childhood brain cancer.  We undertook a 320km mountain biking trek through Japan in September, followed by a trek to the peak of Mt Fuji, the trip was designed to push us beyond our comfort zones (which it did).  The trip was fully funded by each team member personally so 100% of your donation went to underlying cause.
